Bringing together the global dance community and the elite athletes of the ZanFit BJJ Championship, this is more than a festival—it is an exclusive four-day escape where rhythm, movement, and island culture collide.
The Journey: What to Expect
- Thursday, Nov 5 (Dar es Salaam): We kick off the weekend with the official Usiku wa Ufunguzi (Opening Gala) at the prestigious Alliance Française.
- Friday, Nov 6 (Zanzibar): Travel to the island and settle in before our Usiku wa Mitindo (Fashion Welcome Party), where dancers and BJJ athletes meet for the first time.
- Saturday, Nov 7 (Zanzibar): Dive into a full day of world-class workshops and masterclasses led by international instructors. As the sun sets, dress to impress for the Usiku wa Asili (Traditional Gala Night).
- Sunday, Nov 8 (Zanzibar): Unwind with Starehe za Pwani (Leisure Day). Enjoy the beaches, explore the spice routes, and close the weekend with our unforgettable Sunset Beach Social.
The Music & Culture
Experience authentic Semba, Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Afro-Fusion. Curated by our Director of Cultural Partnerships & Headlining DJ, DJ Scofy, the musical lineup features top-tier international guest DJs and instructors directly supported by the Embassies of Mozambique, Angola, and France.
